Mental health conditions happen to people from all walks of lives. From male to female; from elders to youngsters; from professionals to students. Especially during the pandemic, mental health struggles have become more much more common than we think. In Malaysia, 1 in every 4 adults suffer from a diagnosable mental disorder, and the numbers are still rising. Unfortunately, a lot of people choose to fight this battle alone because of the stigma towards them in the society. The reason for it includes a lack of mental health literacy and awareness among the Malaysians. Many of them still do not view mental health problems as a serious issue. However, it doesn’t have to be that way. We believe that this stigma can be broken.
By joining as a volunteer, you have the opportunity to:

(1) help out the community who need someone to listen to them
(2) involve in different mental health support related events

Don’t worry even if you do not have experience before because briefing and training will be provided. If you are a patient and kind-hearted person, congratulations! You are the one we are looking for. Serve as a volunteer today and make contribution to the community. The decision you make today may bring a huge impact to the society in the future.

TOGETHER, we can create a happier life for the mental health conditions community.
